Vienna Scientific and Open source hardware

Many thanks to André M. Chagas from the Center for Integrative Neurosciences at the University of Tübingen, Germany for featuring Vienna Scientific Instruments at the 6th Bernried retreat conference, June 7th to 9th 2017, Germany.  Vienna Scientific is and stays committed to accessible scientific products for everyone!

New MR camera module

We are happy to announce that we developed a new imaging platform for minirhizotron systems. The new module will be used for all unidirectional types of MR camera systems  - from manual indexing handle-systems to fully automated MR cameras. This will allow using a standardized user interface for all models and thus enhance usability for customers.  Happy root imaging!

Meet VSI @ GfÖ 2016 in Marburg, Germany, Sept 05-08

In 2016, the University of Marburg hosts the 46th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In the year 1866 Ernst Haeckel introduced the term “Ecology”. The guiding theme of the 46th Annual Meeting is therefore "150 years of ecology – lessons for the future".

While the organizers present an outstanding and interesting program covering the diversity of ecological research, Vienna Scientific Instruments presents custom-made scientific instrumentation and engages in discussion with interested scientists.

Thanks to all visitors for the interest in Vienna Scientific Instruments and good discussions with Liaqat and Florian!
