Q-S121 H2 Gas Analyser, designed as a flow-through system and enabling precise measurements of H2 gas in the range of 0-100 ppm. If your requirements extend beyond this range, customisation options are available. This analyser uses a tin-dioxide (SnO2) semiconductor sensing element, and its output is highly sensitive to background gas composition (N2 vs Ar) and oxygen levels. The Q-S121 is factory calibrated at 21% O2 for both N2 and Ar background gases. In addition, if the Q-C610 LabQuest Mini Data Interface and the optional Q-C901 Logger Pro software are chosen, a corresponding experimental setup file is supplied. This file makes it easy to correct the voltage output to accurately reflect the molecular hydrogen concentration in ppm. The versatility of the Q-S121 extends to applications such as measuring nitrogenase activity, particularly in H2 evolution within the uptake hydrogenase (HUP) minus symbioses of legumes. In particular, this gas-phase hydrogen analyser is an integral part of the Q-NF1LP Nitrogen Fixation Package.

The Q-S121 H2 Analyser is a module of the Q-NF1LP Nitrogen Fixation Package, using H2 evolution to non-destructively determine the N fixation by rhizobia.
