Imaging Systems for Rhizoboxes & Rinsed Roots

Vienna Scientific offers root imaging instruments for the analysis of washed root samples, or continuous / automated imaging of root systems in Rhizoboxes and "RhizoPots" under controlled conditions in growth rooms, greenhouses and laboratories.

Rhizobox & RhizoPot - (Semi-) Automatic Imaging

Automatic Rhizobox Imaging Platform. The automatic rhizobox imaging platform is designed to automatically phenotype roots and shoots of rhizobox grown plants. In addition to imaging, water use can be accurately determined by weighing and automated irrigation can be applied. The modular and standardized imaging system makes high-throughput rhizobox research infrastructure affordable and scalable. Rhizobox size is fully customizable. Eco-mind LK-1250 Plant Rhizobox Imaging System

EM LK-1250 Rhizobox Imaging System. The LK-1250 rhizobox imaging system is designed for semiautomatic digital imaging of the transparent surfaces of individual rhizoboxes. The plant rhizobox imaging system uses a CMOS sensor with 20 MP and LED with adjustable brightness. The system is ready to be used with rhizoboxes of A4 (letter) or custom sizes to efficiently obtain complete, clear and reflectance free rhizobox images. EcoMind LK-1600 Rhizobox Monitoring Scanner System

EM LK-1600 RhizoPot System. The LK-1600 RhizoPot Scanner System is a flatbed scanner system for automated imaging of roots and rhizosphere in attached A4 (letter) size RhizoPots. RhizoPots are rhizoboxes that are permanently mounted on a scanner flatbed for perfect image quality. The size of the scanning area is A4 (21 x 30 cm, WxH). The LK-1600 image acquisition software allows the user to set the image acquisition resolution, time and naming schemes - enabling automated image acquisition for up to 20 RhizoPots (per control unit) in laboratories, greenhouses and growth rooms. EM LK-1200 Benchtop Root Analyzer. The LK-1200 benchtop root analyzer is designed for digital rotational imaging of root systems / root crowns after rinsing. Once the sample is mounted, the analyser automatically captures images from any angle - allowing analysis of hundreds of root samples (up to 40 x 30 cm, HxW) per day.
