Going to Vienna
Vienna's central position in Europe makes it a hub offering optimal transportation connections to the whole world.
195 destinations across 70 countries are regularly served from Vienna airport by 74 airlines. Please let us know when you arrive (incl. flight number), we will be happy to pick you up at the Airport meeting point (see map). You may prefer a shuttle service (e.g. Airport Driver, Airport Transfer, etc.) or the great public transportation system (every 15 min (CityAirportTrain) or 30 min (Wiener Linien) to Wien Mitte ("Vienna City Center"), close to the hotel suggested below). Taking the Wiener Linien is the cheapest option.
The train is a comfortable way to travel to Vienna. The products of ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) and the Westbahn are aimed at individual travel needs. Please let us know when you arrive at which station (incl. train number), we will be happy to pick you up at rail track.
You’ll have a safe journey to Vienna by car and bus on Austria’s network of motorways, expressways and federal highways. Get an overview on international bus connections here. However, as tolls are compulsory on all motorways and expressways in Austria, you will also need a vignette to use Vienna's city motorways. The route planner will help you find the best way to Vienna. Furthermore, please be aware that some of Vienna's districts are entirely short-stay parking zones and costs may apply.

We frequently recommend the Hotel “Mercure Grand Hotel Biedermeier Wien” because of its acceptable price and its convenient location close to the city center and the subway station “Wien Mitte” (U3, U4). It is also a convenient location to pick you up for a trip to Alland by car!

Visit VSI in Alland (HQ)
The VSI premises are best reached by car (about 35-45 min from Vienna depending on traffic). In most cases, we will be able to pick you up at your hotel/airport etc. However, if you are driving yourself, a route planner will help you find the best way:
