Field Technical Services. Vienna Scientific provides hands-on technical support to the research community in Austria and neighboring countries through its Field & Technical Services. VSI offers a wide range of field and technical services to plan, support, and perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repairs at field test sites. Our staff of engineers and technicians combines extensive field experience and in-depth technical knowledge to assist researchers with electrical installations, infrastructure construction (improvised stairs on slopes, instrument huts, footpaths, etc.), and instrument installation.
Vienna Scientific can provide stand-alone services (including material procurement), coordinate the services of other specialized companies, or supplement your institution's capabilities and manpower (including working with project scientists, technicians, students, etc.). Whether you need assistance with a one-time project or regular service, our team of technicians can help. Please note that many funding programs (EU H2020, etc.) have specific rules for subcontracting, so planned subcontracting services for on-site support are best included in the initial proposal budgets.
