PlantView Plant Imaging System

BLT-PlantVIew, exceptionally sensitive plant bioluminescence imaging system. The BLT-PlantView100 incorporates a back-illuminated ultra-low temperature CCD camera, renowned for its remarkably high detection sensitivity. The dark cabinet effectively shields the imaging process from external light. The optional Lateral Imaging Module, which features a rotating stage, and the included adjustable plant growth simulation software, facilitates extended multi-site imaging under highly controlled light conditions. This design enhances system performance and reliability. The user-friendly software interface simplifies operation and allows experimental programmes to be pre-set.

Features - BLT-PlantView 100

  • Deep-cooled, research-grade CCD camera with temperatures down to absolute -100°C (-148°F), with capability to capture weak fluorescence / luminescence (QE >95% @ 520-630 nm, 80% @ 460-780 nm)
  • High resolution CCD camera, 1024 x 1024 px, 13 x 13 µm size; dynamic range 90 dB
  • Five sets of excitation and emission filters included, 465 nm to 820 nm (see specs for details)
  • Large field of view (top; 280 mm x 280 mm), for small plants, seedlings, seeds, fruits, culture dishes etc.; F0.95 wide-angle lens
  • Plant light simulation module, for plant growth rhythm and photoperiod experiments; with cooling
  • Global shadowless, uniform LED excitation mode
  • User-friendly software included (English); free software upgrades

  • Lateral imaging module, for dual imaging (top and side), field of view: 120 mm x 100 mm; includes sample rotation platform, and 100 mm square culture dish adaptor (available also separately)
  • Expanded excitation range (capacity: 20 excitation lights, 10 filters)

Chlorophyll Fluorescence Imaging System

As a cost-effective alternative for Chlorophyll Fluorescence Imaging, without light and closed chamber design (as in the BLT-PlantView 100), consider the BLT-PlantView 230F Imager.
