Horizontal laminar flow hoods or cabinets are commonly used in laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and electronics manufacturing to maintain a sterile and particle-free workspace. These hoods direct a constant stream of filtered air horizontally across the work surface, preventing contaminants from settling on sensitive materials or equipment. Vertical laminar flow, on the other hand, moves air from top to bottom.
