CO2, O2, Methane, H2 Gas Analyzers - Gas-Phase or Dissolved

CO2 Gas Analysers 2000 ppm

CO2 Gas Analysers, 0-2000 ppm, single channel flow-through non-dispersive infrared CO2 analysers that measure CO2 gas in the range 0 to 2000 ppm with 1 ppm resolution. Robust stand-alone version with pump and flow meter (Q-S157) and modular version (Q-S151) available.

CO2 Gas Analysers, 5% or 10%, for high-range CO2 concentrations, adapted IRGA are available for the 0-5% and 0-10% CO2.


Dissolved O2 Analyzer

Dissolved CO2 Analyser (DCO2). Measures dissolved pCO2 in water at atmospheric pressure. The system consists of a DCO2 sampler with accessories and a non-dispersive IR CO2 analyser.


O2 Gas Analysers

O2 Gas Analysers, single channel or differential, flow or stop-flow O2 sensors for measuring the gas phase oxygen in the 0-25% or 0-100% range with a high accuracy. Robust stand-alone version with pump and flow meters (Q-S108), modular version (Q-S102) and unique DOX differential oxygen analyser (Q-S104) available.


Dissolved O2 Analysers

Dissolved O2 Sensors Both optical and polarographic sensors are available. Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Electrodes for measuring dissolved oxygen in liquid suspensions - Q-OX1LP O2 Set available. Alternatively, luminescence technology provides fast, simple and accurate measurements of DO in solutions.


CO2 and O2 Multigas Analysers

CO2 and O2 Gas Analyser, with a combination of a flow-through non-dispersive infrared CO2 analyser, a galvanic cell O2 sensor and a built-in pressure sensor. Various versions are available with/without pump and mass flow monitor.


Methane Gas Analyser

Methane CH4 Analysers, using the latest non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology to measure methane levels in the ranges 0-100, 0-500 or 0-5000 ppm. Various versions are available for gas phase CH4 measurements in the laboratory or in the field.

Gas Concentration Control Systems

Gas Control and Mixing Systems. Gas control and Gas mixing systems regulate solenoid valves and control the levels of gases such as CO2, O2, CH4 and H2O vapour within a closed plant chamber or an animal cabinet. The system can e.g. be used to control CO2 and 13CO2 levels or to maintain elevated or reduced O2 or water vapour levels.



VSI Systems for Gas Flux, Volatile and Isotope Measurements in Chambers, and Air Sampling

Gas Flux & Air Sampling Systems. Gas exchange measurements (e.g. of greenhouse gases including CO2) are often made using the closed non-steady-state chamber technique, where a chamber is placed on the soil or mesocosms for a short period and the change in gas concentrations in the chamber headspace is monitored over time, either by continuous measurements (IRGA etc.) or by sampling gas aliquots from the chamber headspace into evacuated vials or sorption tubes. The resulting time series of gas concentration measurements provides an estimate of the surface-atmosphere exchange with the plot / mesocosm / potted plant on which the chamber is installed. In open dynamic systems (= steady-state flow-through systems), fresh ambient air is pumped into or extracted from a chamber and the flux is calculated from the air flow rate and the difference in concentration between the air entering and leaving the chamber after the air in the chamber headspace has reached a steady state. Air sampling ex situ for research and environmental monitoring of pollution can be done similarly by on-line measurements with gas analysers or by sampling for later analysis of air samples in the laboratory. While gas flux measurement systems, especially chambers, can be made of transparent PMMA (acrylic, plexiglass) for analysis of common gas concentrations and where plants are involved, chamber and tubing materials such as PTFE (Teflon) are required for experiments with highly reactive substances. Soil respiration chambers are often made of metal or plastic and, importantly, should be designed to open and close automatically (to match the sampling intervals of the connected analysers) for long-term in situ measurements. Finally, our whole air or sorbent tube samplers allow for the collection of gas samples in glass vials or sorbent tubes - where the sample can be preserved for subsequent analysis using laboratory equipment. Samples can be collected on the command of an operator or sampling can be triggered by events or time schedules - making the air samplers highly applicable to various field or laboratory settings and even enabling the use of UAVs to sample larger parts of the troposphere and inaccessible areas.
