Flatbed Scanner with transparency unit for Reliable 2D Root Scans in the Lab

We provide modified Epson scanners with transparency units, fully modified to allow for instant, accurate root scanning without the shadow effect of standard flatbed scanners without transparency unit. 

 

Vienna scientific makes the Epson products ready for root analysis by complementing the products with

- spacers to elevate the transparency lid for placing water-filled root trays on the scanner, and

- a set of adequatly sized, plexiglas root trays, fitting the scanner area (A4, A3).

 

Additional root trays for 2D scanners can be orderd as required.
